• Enfield Local Plan: we are now expecting the final phase of public consultation, known as Regulation 19 to being in late March. Get ahead and read our objections to the proposals.

Local Studies library now open

Following the decision in 2020 to move the Local Studies Library and Archive from its purpose-build location in the Dugdale Centre to the Civic Centre, we heard this week that the first phase of this plan has now been completed.

Members of the public who wish to consult the Archive can now make an appointment to visit the new Library and speak to John Clark. You can make an appointment by either calling 020 8379 2724 or 020 8132 1226 or by e-mailing John Clark at john.clark@enfield.gov.uk

The Archive has been moved to Ridge Avenue Library and is no longer conveniently situated alongside the Local Studies Library. This means visitors to the Civic Centre may have to return at a later date once the necessary materials requested have been recovered.
