Charity School Edmonton: restoration project details

The London Historic Buildings Trust has published a 6-page document outlining how it is intending to work with Learning for Life Charity to bring the school building back into use for the community.

The project will require £2M funding as well as the acquisition of the freehold of the building. Once completed the project will provide

  • a project that provides training, employment, learning and vocational qualifications
  • a place for young people to sell their products
  • a bookable conference / community space
  • education opportunities for local schools
  • drop-in space for vulnerable families and groups
  • a garden for growing produce
  • a community cafe
