Following a conversation between Enfield Council’s Heritage Officers and The Society, The Society made a detailed submission to Historic England for Whitewebbs House to be Nationally Listed at the end of 2023. [It is on the Local List.]
We have now heard back from Historic England. Their current position is that, as there are no immediate threats to the House, a decision to List (or not) has been deferred. This could mean Listing at a later date, we simple do not yet have a final answer.
