You are invited to join the Friends of Enfield Chase on Saturday morning 1st October (at 10:00 am) for a leisurely stroll along the wonderful new Enfield Chase section of London’s orbital pathway: The London Loop. The walk will start in Ferny Hill at postcode EN4 0PZ, where the London Loop crosses the road and enters Trent Park.

The walk will be an opportunity to
- see Enfield’s newest Park area,
- see London’s largest new woodland,
- marvel at the wonderful reforestation and rewilding project led by Enfield Council and supported by Thames21 and hundreds of volunteers,
- discuss the tree planting and future plans,
- spot wildlife in the fields, Salmon’s Brook, ponds and Swales, the sky and new woodland,
- be amazed at the wonderful unspoilt countryside right on your doorstep!
If you would like to become involved with the Friends of Enfield Chase you are very welcome to do so. They meet a few times a year to plan and there are volunteering opportunities throughout the year: these are currently on a Wednesday. Planting further trees is expected during the winter period.
You can make new friends and they welcome young and old and from every background.
