A plaque is to be unveiled at 12:30 on 16th January 2019 at the site of the old Royal Small Arms Factory to commemorate the work of the factory during the First World War. The unveiling will be carried out by Jim Lewis, who has a new book coming out on the factory, and there will be a small reception afterwards in the Community Centre. Members of the Enfield Society are invited to attend, however numbers are limited so please e-mail the organiser Philip Abbot before coming.
