Mayor of London begins work on the new London Plan

On Friday 9th May the GLA officially started work on the new London Plan by releasing a “high level” document for a six-week public consultation. This is includes new proposals for the Green Belt which, until now, the Mayor has been firmly against being developed.

Carol Fisk of Enfield RoadWatch was interviewed by BBC TV and Radio at Vicarage Farm about the new proposals and their implication for Vicarage Farm and other cherished Green Belt sites in Enfield. You can watch the News programme via this link (you will need to sign-in with a BBC account).

Towards a new London Plan sets out ideas for growth in London to be included in the next London Plan. It looks at how we could respond to some of the challenges the city faces to grow and thrive.
