A new Black Film Club has been established at the Dugdale Arts Centre. Starting from Friday 31st January (7pm) the films will be aimed at adults and children. Initially a three-month season to see how popular this will be and the Club is hoping for support from the Enfield community. Screenings feature a little something for everyone, from sunny South London romcom Rye Lane, to a screening of the 80s cult classic Babylon.
The first children’s film is the very popular “Wild Robot” which has only just recently been released. There will be face painting and robot making for the children. The adult films will have discussions and partying after the film. Both will have food provided. Prices are £5 (adult) and £3 per head, so very reasonable.
