We are expecting a full programme this year after the restrictions of the past two years due to COVID. The Society has granted £2,000 again to Enfield Council to help support a good contribution from our Borough. At the time this post was made (25th August) not all the 21 planned items are being shown by the Open House Festival calendar, but we understand there is a last-minute effort being made to add them.
The Society is contributing two events to the programme, as follows:
Enfield: From Medieval to Millennium

Saturday17th September, 11am. A Guided tour.
Join Blue Badge Guide and Society Trustee, Sue Grayson Ford, to discover the treasures inside Enfield’s medieval parish church, and hear the stories behind many other listed buildings before visiting Enfield Chase (the remnants of the royal hunting grounds), and the New River, dating from 1613.
An easy 90-minute walk on level ground.
Booking essential on the Open House Festival website
