Transport for London are now consulting the residents of Enfield (and right across London) on proposals to extend the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ). This was recently extended to the North and South Circular roads.
TfL is proposing to extend the Zone to the whole of Greater London on the 29th August next year. Drivers of cars which don’t meet the set environmental standard would pay £12.50 per day to use their car inside the Zone.
TfL are also seeking views on changes to Auto Pay, penalties for non-payment for the ULEZ and Congestion Charge, and changes to the Mayor’s Transport Strategy.
Additionally, they’d like to hear your views on how TfL could shape the future of road user charging.
The consultation can be found here. It ends 29 July 2022. You can check if your car meets the current emissions standard here.
