Council to look again at Whitewebbs Park lease?

A petition organised by the Friends of Whitewebbs collected sufficient support to require a full Council debate, which took place on Wednesday 26th February. Around 90 residents attended.

There were three options presented to councillors on the petition:

  1. to accept the petition request and cease marketing Whitewebbs Park;
  2. reject the petition outright;
  3. refer the plans back to the Executive Director for further consideration.

Option 3 was carried.
