Depart 11.00 from Custom House Station (about 10 minutes by Elizabeth Line trains from Liverpool Street, but also allow for a 5 to 10 minutes walk from either Moorgate or Liverpool Street mainline stations to reach the Elizabeth Line).

Note: only one toilet available at Custom House Station, but if you arrive early there are toilets/cafes within the nearby Excel Centre.

An interestingly varied and level route on well-made paths connecting these two distinctly different areas. Full route about 6 miles (2½ to 2¾ hours) but can be shortened from several points. Lunch facilities near the Stadium and at Westfield Shopping Centre. Return by train to either Highbury & Islington or into Liverpool Street stations. Leader: Jeff Chesnick.
