Meet 10.45 at Manor Park Station which is about 15 minutes on Elizabeth Line by Shenfield direction trains from Liverpool Street. As at 29th April, these trains are at 10.11, 10.18 and 10.26 but also allow for a 5 to 10 minutes walk from either Moorgate or Liverpool Street mainline stations to reach the Elizabeth Line.

About 7 mile circular walk (with shorter options) through the southern part of Epping Forest via a varied mix of attractive landscapes including historic Wanstead Park with “The Grotto, The Temple and Ornamental Waters” features.

Depending upon weather conditions, the walk has slightly alternative routes available to use on the day. If dry, then a lunch stop at Wanstead Park Tea Hut but, if wet, lunch will be at Leytonstone High Road (cafes/Wetherspoon). Bring lunch or food available. Leader: Eric Rolfe.
