Meet 11.00 at Grove Park Station. Travel by 10.31 Southeastern train from
Charing Cross mainline station (usually from platform 5) or catch this train from London Bridge mainline station at 10.40 (usually from platform 7).

Today’s 8 mile linear walk has a varied mix of open spaces, woodland and parks, before reaching the lakes, imaginary dinosaurs and grand landscaping of Crystal Palace Park. The lunch stop will be at the cafe in the recently refurbished Beckenham Place Park.

There are many options to shorten the walk as the route goes near 7 stations (including one soon after lunch) and it also crosses multiple bus routes. Leader: John West, contact 07904 193 098.
