A talk about a trip to an exotic garden on the Italian Riviera, which was created by an Enfield family, the Hanburys of the Manor House which used to stand on the corner of Whitewebbs Lane where it meets Bulls Cross . Mr Bowles made the same trip in 1889 and again in 1930 and 31. It will be accompanied by another talk “The Lost Treasures of Myddelton” .
