Great Eastern station, Enfield Town, 1910
This was on the site of the present Enfield Town station. It shows a raised clerestory section above the ticket hall which is crowned with ornate iron work. The clerestory section was removed at a later stage of the building's life. This may have been due to rainwater leaking in or a move towards reducing maintenance costs.
