Townhouse night club

The Queen's Hall cinema of 1911 was reopened in 1947 as the Florida and, after closure in 1976, was converted into the Townhouse nightclub. It is shown as it was in 2003 before Genotin Road was extended.

Many a Friday/Saturday night here. and good nights as well, and it was local.

In the 1990s I regularly went to the Tennessee country music club which met there on a Tuesday. Saw some great British country bands there over the years. I think the manager's name was Terry. I could post a photo but there doesn't appear to be a way for me to do that.
