This whitewashed house is at Rectory Farm, on the road of the same name that connects the Ridgeway with Strayfield Road. The lean-to roof attached to the rear of the house was a long open-sided shed used for storing tractors and various farm implements. The main structure of the house is still there, but the end wall, including the chimney stack has been removed to enable the building to be used as a barn. Large double doors have been fitted where the original doorway and windows were. The single storey building on the right has been demolished, but the outline of the rafters can still be seen on the side of the old house.
