Portcullis Lodge
Demolished by Enfield Council in 1968. The house once belonged to Sir Alfred Somerset, the master of the Enfield Chase pack of staghounds, who lived at Enfield Court, now the school. Portcullis Lodge was so named because a portcullis was the badge of his family - [i]Fighting for the future,[/i] p.51-52.
