Lavender Hill Cemetery entrance

Believed to be in the 1920’s. The large oak tree, reputed to be older than the cemetery itself, was felled in 2014.
"This postcard is from the Robert Calvert Brown set that was salvaged and sold by the Society. Robert ran the Post Office at 62 Browning Road in 1933 & 4. The Kelly’s noted him as a Photographic Chemist. Robert was born 13th April 1870 in London, the London in Canada. He might have died in Michigan USA." - [Information from Stephen Sellick]
