Nurses at Elm House
Elm House in Gentleman's Row was used as a convalescent home for wounded soldiers during the first World War. Percy Leggatt is on the left and Dudly Leggatt on the right. They allowed the War Office the use of the house rent free and provided £300 for necessary alterations.
