Palace Gardens cedar
Captioned "The Cedar in the Palace Gardens at Enfield". Copy of an engraving. The signature at bottom left is cut off but appears to be ...G. Strutt. The tree is reputed to have been planted by Dr Uvedale (who lived at the Palace for many years) in 1670, the plant being brought from the Lebanon by a former pupil.
