Dedication of seat at Library Green

In 1990, inspired by the Preservation Society, Enfield Council and British Telecom co-operated in an Environment Week which made a dramatic improvement to a corner of the Library Green. The prime movers, shown here, were (left to right) standing, Nicola Rossi (British Telecom), Stever Jaggard (borough engineer's department) and Nigel Tomers (borough planning department). Sitting on the seat (later stolen) which was donated by British Telecom, are Prue Lambert and Beryl Dorrington. - Fighting for the future, p.200.
