Uvedale House, Church Walk
Early 16th century. Listed Grade II. Originally Tudor but much altered externally. It was 're-Tudorised' in the 20th century, obiterating the simple but pretty brick Georgian facade shown in an old photograph. Two storeys and attick with dormers, painted white brick work and half-timbering; the square oriel windows on the first floor and wide casements below are modern. - [i]Treasures of Enfield[/i], p. 86.
