Exhibition caption: After replacing fencing by iron railings of a similar design to the original. The area is opened out and an impression of light and space given. The curve of the original bridge is revealed, andthe straight pipe once taking the electricity supply across the river has been relaid under the bridge surface. The cottages and their gardens are now revealed and a gate placed to indicate that their front access is not a public footpath. The public house has been repainted to an agreed colour scheme and has now become a focal point which can reflect light. The Llicensee's window boxes and tubs are now visible and the public house looks gay and inviting.
