Enfield Chase station mural

Enfield Chase railway station, which has been operating in its current location since 1910, will be getting a colourful facelift—a large artwork on the northbound platform created by Kremena Dimitrova, a local artist and educator.

Commissioned by Enfield Chase Station Partners (which includes The Enfield Society) supported by Hive Curates, the mural will create a unique and memorable welcome to the station and the area, as well as celebrate the history and heritage of Enfield Town. Combining ideas from the local community and Kremena’s skills as artist and “edutainer”, the project aims to spark interest and bring joy to Enfield residents and thousands of train commuters daily.

A series of community engagements will commence Tuesday 28th at 9:00 am at the Station and conclude 30th June. You can meet Kremena at the Station or later between 2pm and 4pm at Dugdale Arts Centre.

You can also share your ideas, suggestions, stories, poetry, photographs, or drawings by 30 June 2024 by answering the short survey via the QR code available at the station, on flyers and posters around the area or via https://www.hivecurates.com/news/artworkforenfieldchase
