I remember playing here in the 1970s and being allowed to ride motorcycles around the site on a Sunday. Most of the old army buildings were still there and there was a place in one of the fields that if you dug into the ground, you would find "Army dog tags". I remember it like it was yesterday, we had some good times playing there but I would love to find out more information about what the site was used for during the war.
