View of the New River, as conveyed through the frame at Bush Hill
|
Engraving from the Gentleman's Magazine September 1784. This image is discussed in David Pam's History of Enfield vol. 1, p105. The top of the Clarendon Arch over Salmons Brook is visible in the middle of the picture. The buildings in the foreground were the huts for the workmen engaged on constructing an embankment.
