Smith and Sons hardware shop, 1899

From an advertisement sheet of 1899 by Meyers the Printers. Smiths were on the north side of the Town, next to Stanfeld's off licence. Smiths had a second shop in Baker Street. The gantry on the left was later knocked down by a lorry and not rebuilt. The picture shows Mr Eric Smith's father and grandfather.
