Post Office on the corner of Hazelwood Lane. The Post Office has a large advertisement on the side wall, reading "Allcock-Bernard & Bradfield / (Late of Maple & Co. Ltd) / Builders & Decorators". Their weatherboarded workshop is adjacent, behind the shop of "W. W. Perrin, Bespoke boot[maker]". The lamp hanging on the corner outside the Post Office door has the legend "YE OLDE PALMERS GREEN REGISTRY OFFICE ...". A poster on the fence, from Bowes Park Congregational Church, announces that the Rev. Henry Varley, B.A., will preach on Sunday next on "The gospel of the empty tomb".
